Christopher Anderson-Bazzoli's concert piece Tesserae has received a performance by The Castle Rock Orchestra of Colorado as part of a concert series featuring music inspired by aspects of the Mediterranean. The work's title is a reference to the small stone cubes used in antique times to create vast mosaics such as "The Battle of Issus" found at the National Museum of Naples, Italy, where the composer made a visit in 2001. Michael Bublé: Christmas

Last January, Christopher Anderson-Bazzoli spent a day in the studio with Grammy-winning singer Michael Bublé, conducting an arrangement by multi-faceted composer-producer Jon Brion. The song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," was recorded at Capitol Records studios in a "live take" with Bublé on vocals, an all-star rhythm section, and some of L.A.'s finest orchestral musicians. The album Christmas was released on October 24th, 2011.
