Christopher Anderson-Bazzoli recently returned from the New York State University at Fredonia where he was a Mentor and Leader at The Art of Improvisation, a workshop presented by Music for People and cellist/composer David Darling. During the week-long event, Anderson-Bazzoli led music improvisation pieces in large and small groups and taught an elective on film scoring. This event marked the completion of his third year in the Musicianship and Leadership Program of Music for People, an East Coast music improvisation ensemble dedicated to the idea that there are no "unmusical" people, only those with no musical experience.

Michael Bublé: Christmas

Last January, Christopher Anderson-Bazzoli spent a day in the studio with Grammy-winning singer Michael Bublé, conducting an arrangement by multi-faceted composer-producer Jon Brion. The song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," was recorded at Capitol Records studios in a "live take" with Bublé on vocals, an all-star rhythm section, and some of L.A.'s finest orchestral musicians. The album Christmas was released on October 24th, 2011.
