Christopher Anderson-Bazzoli took First prize in the 2010 Ironworks Percussion Composition Competition for his 2002 work Prayer of the Heliotrope. The Ironworks Percussion Duo (Dr. Dave Gerhart & Axel Clarke, pictured) will perform the work at California State University Long Beach in February of 2011.
